Maggie Vera is the youngest sister of The Vera-Vaughn Charmed Ones. She also married Jordan Chase.

Early life

Maggie was born in May 2001 to the Warren Witch, Marisol Vera, and the mortal Dexter Vaughn. On July 20, 2018, Marisol bound her powers and erased all her magic-related memories to keep her safe from danger unfortunately for her, Maggie's mother was killed by Charity Callahan but Maggie and her sisters never know until Charity kidnapped Macy.

At the age of 5, Maggie's father Ray walked out on Marisol just after Maggie's birthday and has barely been in contact with her or her sister, Mel since. Maggie was a student at Hilltowne University where she had decided to major in psychology and participated in several extracurriculars such as the Hilltones, the black student union, and was a pledge of Kappa Tau Kappa. Maggie dated a boy named Brian, but at some point, Maggie broke up with him due to her not being able to see a future with him.

Becoming a Charmed One

On July 20, 2018, after a frantic text from their mother orders them to come home, Maggie and Mel Vera discover their mother Marisol murdered. Three months later, the sisters are estranged; Mel blames Maggie for Marisol's death, and Maggie leaves home for a chance to join Kappa, a sorority at Hilltowne University. Molecular geneticist Macy Vaughn is hired at the university under Professor Thaine and reinstated after being accused of sexual harassment. Macy introduces herself to Maggie and Mel as their half-sister, and the three are brought before Harry Greenwood, their "Whitelighter". He explains that they are witches, and their mother had tried to undo the binding spell she had placed to hide their powers before she was killed; Harry gives them 48 hours to accept their powers or return to their ordinary lives. After Macy helps Maggie exorcise a demon from her ex-boyfriend, Brian, they realize everything Harry said is true. Later, Mel is trapped by Thaine, actually the upper-level demon Taydeus. Macy, Maggie, and Mel can use the "Power of Three" to kill Taydeus but learn he is not the demon who killed their mother.

Developing Feelings for Parker Caine

Maggie meets Parker when he defends her from a rude customer, and she is immediately attracted to him. Though, later on during the Halloween party, Lucy introduces Parker as her boyfriend. Maggie has a conversation with Lucy about being on the verge of failing World Literature. Not wanting to "bring down Kappa's GPA", Lucy asks Parker to tutor Maggie, and he agrees. Later, Parker shows up at the same place where Maggie and her sisters are exorcising the Harbinger of Hell from Angela Wu, claiming to "look for a place to hide fireworks". During this conversation, Parker almost sees a possessed Angela, and to distract him Maggie quickly pulls him in and kisses him. Parker gives the amulet to Maggie as a Christmas present in his ploy to steal the Charmed Ones' powers, but upon realizing his own feelings for Maggie, he removes the amulet, thus restoring their powers. When his brother breaks out a fight in the manor's backyard, Parker exposes his powers and identity in front of the sisters in an attempt to protect them. He then tries to explain to Maggie, but she refuses to listen. Hunter later returns to settle the score, but Parker comes to their rescue and tries to banish Hunter to Tartarus. However, he grows weaker with each attempt and the sisters help out. Though they succeed in banishing Hunter, Harry Greenwood is also pulled in. Maggie is still dealing with the fallout from the revelation that Parker is a demon or at least a half-demon. She feels very betrayed by Parker and also feels like her powers betrayed her by not revealing Parker’s secret to her. Tired of all the pain she feels, Maggie decides to use the Book of Shadows for a spell that’ll take her pain away.
She finds it in the anti-heartbreak spell however due to it her powers don't work. Dante can break free and now Maggie is sent to Tartarus. Mel Vera and Macy Vaughn rush to Charity Callahan for help, they argue, and then learn that Alistair took it. Mel and Macy have no choice but to ask Parker for help. When they visit Parker in his dorm, he feels very guilty about the events last year at Christmas and is looking for a way to help Maggie. He offers to assist Mel and Macy in their efforts to steal the Harbinger of hell from Alistair’s office. Back in Tartarus, Maggie is being tortured by her own memories of Parker and her mother's death. She later is set free with Harry, but they encounter Alastor as they reunite with Macy and Mel. Back at the Vera manor after that encounter, Maggie tells her sisters she can’t believe she tried to take away her feelings with a spell and needs to deal with it. But sadly, now she can’t stop thinking about Parker. Parker soon arrives at the manor to check in on Maggie, who is under the impression he double-crossed her sisters and is still very betrayed. Before Parker leaves, he tells her that whatever happened between the sisters and Alastor spooked him so much it caused him to leave Hilltowne, so he will not be a problem for them for a while. Maggie is kidnapped by Alastor to blackmail Parker into becoming the Source. However, Macy thwarted his plan by taking Parker's place and becoming the host for the Source instead. Alastor was at first ecstatic to be in the presence of the Source, but Macy, with the Source's enhanced power, vanquished him on the spot. They're relieved to both be safe and finally free of Alastor's manipulation. After the death of his father, Parker leaves Hilltowne and Maggie to control his inner demons which leaves Maggie heartbroken as he declines her help.

Faking herself and her sister's death to forcefully move to Seattle

There, she got a job at SafeSpace, Seattle as a part-time receptionist before becoming an assistant manager. She is currently a student at Seattle State College, and she is majoring in psychology.

Forced Marriage with Parker

Maggie turns down Parker’s marriage proposal, he says they can change things for the better between witches and demons but she turns it down saying she’s too young and not ready. Maggie decides to marry Parker to become a family to attempt a truce between the two sides of demons and witches. Macy and Mel try to talk her out of it and seek other options but fail.
Maggie goes back to Parker and asks him to release the other witches to be released from the attack and he does. Parker tells Maggie about the demon oath which is where the other demons vow to protect him the Overlord and any family attached to him if they get married which would mean any attack on witches by demons would be forbidden. But Godric and another witch have a plan to try to stop the union. Mel, Macy, and Harry try to come up with a way to prove the wedding shouldn’t happen. Mel decides to do a spell that runs her into a fly so that she can get information on Parker which is a curse, and to break it, she has to self-reflect on something she needs to fix within herself. To speed up the wedding and stop attacks Parker and Maggie decide to get married immediately, she doesn’t trust Godric. Mel, Macy, and Harry arrive at the wedding and Mel turns herself into a fly. Harry goes off to find Abigail in the house to use her to stop the wedding and use her to his advantage. As a fly, Mel goes into a room where Parker and Godric discuss the attacks and it’s revealed the demons stoke the ape from the magic tree, as Mel is buzzing around Godric swats the fly to the floor and she realizes it’s time to break the curse and self reflect on inner issues in a mirror and it works, she goes off to tell Maggie what she earned about the attacks on the scared Grove and the apples, but as Mel tells her how she found out the information Maggie gets upset that she went behind her back to do this betrayal and asks her to leave the house but before she does she tells Maggie to check Parker’s office for the apples. Maggie checks Parker’s office and finds the suitcase of apples. Parker walks in after Godric makes it seem as if she’s stealing the apples from him, Parker tells her he ate one of the apples. He makes the decision to move forward with the wedding and Macy can tell that Maggie wants out of the wedding, Abigael moves forward with her, and as Parker and Maggie walk up to the altar and Godric is about to perform the blood ceremony with the dagger they push Parker and Maggie and the rest escape and runoff.

Meeting Jordan Chase

Maggie came into the gym in search of a first aid kit for her poisoned sister Macy Vaughn, Jordan was training one of his students. He began to help Maggie by offering up the kit but took it back as he began to question parts of her story and why she needed it. Jordan offered up his skills as a medic to help but after getting shut down by Maggie, he finally gave in to her plea, telling her how he does not trust easily while giving up the first aid kit.

Moving on without Parker

Maggie thinks Parker is dead, but she's already mentally coping with this loss because she believes that if they continued to be together, his demonic side would still always stand between them. Maggie meets Parker alive, and she refuses to forgive him for what he did to her. Parker becomes fully mortal and apologizes to Maggie for everything. Maggie forgives him, but nevertheless finally breaks off their relationship, wanting to move on without Parker.

Becoming assistant manager

Jordan and Maggie competed for the job of assistant manager. Maggie needed the position to gain access to the Command Center, and Jordan needed it to maintain the gym. Maggie learned the Malleaorum spell to persuade Zach to give her the job. Because of the success, Jordan was no longer able to keep his job at the gym.

New mysterious enemy and enter an alternate reality

Macy, Mel, Maggie, Harry, and Jordan, have now discovered that the cabal of foes coalescing to bring down the Power of Three is actually working for an ancient evil that's been lying dormant since the dawn of magic. This powerful dark force — known as the Lost One — will be the ultimate test of the strength of the newly discovered sisterhood; forcing them to rekindle their connection…or face the destruction of magic itself. They managed to disguise themselves as members of the Unseen and take back the Book of Shadows and the Unity Bowl before either could be used. However, they were later forced to resurrect Inara themselves. Later OG Charmed Ones sacrificed themselves to save the world, and then Harry shows up to inform the sisters that Diana left them a letter. The Vera-Vaughn Charmed Ones enter an alternate reality and land at the front door to the Halliwell Manor. After the sisters step in with the front door closing on its own...
